They now have 10 points in their kitty after six assignments.
West Bengal Police SC, on the other hand, are at the bottom of the table with just one point after five matches.
In the last encounter against Peerless SC, Mohammedan Sporting Club paid the price for their profligacy upfront as they failed to find the back of the net in spite of creating quite a few scoring opportunities.
The team’s technical director Raghu Nandy also attributed the goal they conceded to a momentary defensive lapse.

“The last game against Peerless SC was a tough one. We had our chances but, in the end, it was our mistakes that proved costly. I think a lapse in concentration at the back cost us the game. However, we have closed the chapter on the previous match and want to be focused on the task in hand right now,” said Raghu Nandy.
The technical director is hopeful that his players have learnt from the mistakes in the last match and they will apply themselves much better in Tuesday’s encounter which is crucial for them to stay in the mix to finish in the top-three bracket in the local league.
