KOLKATA: Baichung Bhutia will don the East Bengal colours at least for another season, unless "there is a major change in plans."
Speaking from Sikkim, Bhutia said he intends to sign for East Bengal once he returns to Kolkata. "I will be back in a week's time," he said. "The process towards rejoining East Bengal will start only after that."
As of now, Bhutia is a 'free player' and technically can join any club.
"Only East Bengal is in the frame of things right now," Bhutia added. "A major change notwithstanding, I will be training under Subhas Bhowmick once again."
Bhutia and IM Vijayan will pair up once again, the Kerala-based player having already signed up for East Bengal for the coming season.
