Barcelona concluded their La Liga-winning season with a 3-0 victory at Athletic Bilbao on Sunday, featuring Robert Lewandowski's brace, though he fell short of overtaking Kylian Mbappe as the league's top scorer for the season.
Lewandowski scored in the 14th and 17th minutes, finishing the season with 27 goals, while Mbappé secured the Pichichi trophy with 31 goals after scoring twice in Madrid's 2-0 win against Real Sociedad on Saturday.

Mbappé's impressive late-season performance included 10 goals in his final six matches, surpassing Lewandowski who had led the scoring race for most of the season.
Barcelona dominated the league with 88 points, finishing four points ahead of second-placed Madrid and 12 points clear of third-placed Atletico Madrid.
The champions demonstrated their superiority with a goal difference of plus 63, scoring 102 goals while conceding 39, and recording 28 wins, four draws, and six losses.
"We had it under control," Lewandowski said. "This season was almost perfect. We have to enjoy this moment."
Barcelona, Madrid, Atletico, Athletic, and Villarreal qualified for the Champions League, while Celta Vigo and Real Betis secured Europa League spots, and Rayo Vallecano earned a Conference League place.

Lewandowski also reached a club milestone thanks to his brace against Bilbao. In the 3 seasons he has been part of the Blaugrana, the Pole has netted 101 times in all competitions, including 42 this year, following 26 last season and 33 in his debut campaign. This is the third club after Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich for which he has achieved this feat. Aged 36, the Barcelona No 9 will be 37 by the time next season kicks off. With his contract running until the summer of 2026, it remains to be seen whether the club will make a decision on the forward in the summer.
