ROME, September 30: AC Milan’s winless streak in Serie A reached five games following a 1-1 draw with Catania on Sunday. Uruguayan forward Jorge Martinez put Catania ahead in the 26th minute at San Siro and Kaka equalized with a penalty in the 48th.
After opening the season with a win over Genoa, the European champions have drawn four games and lost one in the Italian league.
Milan is tied for 11th place with seven points, seven behind city rival Inter Milan.
Inter leads with 14 points, followed by Fiorentina with 12 and Roma with 11. Juventus, Napoli and Palermo are tied with 10 each.
Napoli was beat 2-1 at home by Genoa in a game played without fans. Palermo lost 3-1 at Empoli and Juventus faced Torino later in the Turin derby.
