KOCHI: Kerala Blasters were today fined Rs 6,00,000 by All India Football Federation Disciplinary Committee for two separate incidents of 'team Misconduct' and 'liability for spectator conduct' during their final Indian Super League preliminary match here on December 4.

The fine was imposed on Kerala Blasters under the

AIFF

Disciplinary Code Article 53A and Article 68 respectively, an

released said.

"Five players of Kerala Blasters were sanctioned by the Match Referee during the Hero ISL Match no 56 (vs NorthEast United FC) held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi on 4th December 2016 for which

AIFF Disciplinary Committee

sanctioned home club Rs 2,00,000," the release said.

The AIFF Disciplinary Committee held Kerala Blasters responsible for home fans' misconduct and damage to stadium property, sanctioning Rs 4,00,000 to the club.

The amount needs to be deposited with AIFF within ten days.
