Manchester United crush Everton in Amorim's first home league game

Manchester United secured a resounding 4-0 victory over Everton in new manager Ruben Amorim's first Premier League match at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee each scored twice for the dominant home side.
Rashford opened the scoring in the 34th minute, connecting with Bruno Fernandes' corner. His side-footed volley deflected off Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and found the back of the net.
This goal energized United, who controlled the remainder of the game.
Zirkzee extended United's lead shortly before halftime. Amad Diallo intercepted Jordan Pickford's goal kick, setting up Fernandes to deliver a cross that Zirkzee finished from close range.
The score was 2-0 at the break.
Rashford wasted no time after the restart, adding his second goal just 20 seconds into the second half. He latched onto a through ball from Amad Diallo, who consistently troubled the Everton defense, and slotted the ball home.
Diallo's impactful performance continued as he dispossessed James Tarkowski in the 64th minute. He then drove forward and provided the assist for Zirkzee's second goal, sealing a comprehensive victory for United.
With this win, United moved up three places to ninth in the Premier League table after 13 matches.
Everton remain winless and goalless in their last four games. They sit just two points above the relegation zone in 15th place.
