CHENNAI: Jurgen Klopp was overwhelmed with joy and turned emotional even as he dedicated Liverpool's English Premier League title to club legends Kenny Dalglish and Steven Gerrard.
Liverpool ended a wait of 30 long years on Thursday after Chelsea defeated Manchester City. It was the Reds' 19th league title and Germany's Klopp revealed how much Dalglish supported the entire side on their journey.
"It is unbelievable.

It's much more than I ever thought would be possible. Knowing how much Kenny supported us, it is for you. He has waited 30 years and it's for Stevie (Gerrard) as well. The boys admire you all and it's easy to motivate the team because of our great history," Klopp told the official broadcasters.
As Liverpool manager, Dalglish had won three league titles from 1985 to 1991. And the Scot finds a lot of similarities between his side and Klopp's boys. "For me both teams are exactly the same. There is no arrogance, no big heads, nobody thinking they are better than anybody else. They are all very humane. You hear stories of them paying for everybody's petrol, they seem humble," Dalglish said after the match.
The club's other legend Steven Gerrard too congratulated Klopp on the 'incredible' achievement. "Congratulations to all @liverpoolfc on winning the premier league. Incredible achievement from a fantastic squad of top players. Lead by a world class manager and coaching team also a special mention for the backing from FSG. And lastly and most importantly the fans who have waited 30 years. Let the party begin," Gerrard posted on Instagram.
