The leaks are out. Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s upcoming DLC might just shake up the Mega Evolution scene, and not everyone’s happy. While Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario are getting
second Mega Evolutions (yes, again), poor Flygon fans are left heartbroken once more. If you were waiting for your desert dragon to finally glow up, well... it’s not happening. Let’s break down what’s actually going on.
Three Pokémon Just Leveled Up (Again)
The leak comes from Centro Leaks (as usual), and it’s a big one. The upcoming Mega Dimension DLC for
Pokémon Legends: Z-A reportedly brings 16 new Mega Evolutions, including
second forms for Absol, Garchomp, and Lucario.
That’s right. The trio that already ruled back in Gen 6 is back for round two. Apparently, these second Megas are more than just reskins; they’re said to come with new typings, animations, and special moves tied to Z-A’s “Mega Energy Variants” system.
Full (Leaked) Mega List
According to the leak, here’s what’s coming with the DLC:
- Mega Raichu X
- Mega Raichu Y
- Mega Chimecho
- Mega Absol (Second Form)
- Mega Staraptor
- Mega Garchomp (Second Form)
- Mega Lucario (Second Form)
- Mega Golurk
- Mega Meowstic
- Mega Crabominable
- Mega Golisopod
- Mega Magearna
- Mega Scovillain
- Mega Glimmora
- Mega Tatsugiri
- Mega Baxcalibur
That’s… a lot. And honestly, some of these are huge surprises (Mega Scovillain?? Mega Glimmora??). But the biggest shock is who’s
not here.
All 16 LEAKED Megas in the DLC Mega Dimensions for Pokemon Legends ZA!
No Mega Flygon (Again)
Flygon fans just can’t catch a break. It’s been one of the
most requested Mega Evolutions since forever, and yet, no love once again. Even with
Pokémon Legends: Z-A centering around Mega Evolution, it’s still missing from both the base game and this DLC.
It stings even more when you see two Mega Raichus in the same update. Two! At this point, Flygon’s like that one friend who always gets left out of the group photo.
Rumor has it, the reason Flygon never gets a Mega is because Game Freak couldn’t finalize a design that “felt right.” That was years ago, but seems like nothing’s changed.
What This Means for Z-A’s Meta
With multiple Megas per Pokémon now possible, the Z-A meta could get spicy. Imagine battles where players swap between Mega Absol (Light Form) and Mega Absol (Shadow Form), or where Lucario gets a brand-new typing.
And even if Flygon didn’t make the cut, the focus on
reimagining old favorites means more Megas could drop later, maybe through events or another DLC. Fingers crossed, dragon fans.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A just doubled down on nostalgia, chaos, and fan emotions. Three double-Megas, sixteen total new ones, and still no Flygon.
