Los Angeles is set to become the ultimate destination for Pokémon GO enthusiasts as Niantic brings the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova to the city. With new Pokémon debuts, legendary encounters, and exclusive event gameplay, Trainers can look forward to an action-packed adventure at the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Exclusive Pokémon Debuts and Pokémon Fusion

One of the biggest highlights of the event is the introduction of Pokémon fusion in Pokémon GO. For the first time, Trainers will be able to fuse Kyurem with Zekrom or Reshiram to create Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, respectively. This marks the debut of these powerful forms in the game.

Black Kyurem can be formed by fusing Kyurem and Zekrom using 1,000 Volt Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Zekrom Candy.
White Kyurem can be created by fusing Kyurem and Reshiram with 1,000 Blaze Fusion Energy, 30 Kyurem Candy, and 30 Reshiram Candy.

These Pokémon will make their first appearance in five-star raids, with their worldwide release scheduled for March 1, 2025, during Pokémon GO Tour: Unova – Global.

New Shiny Pokémon Arriving

For Trainers who love Shiny Pokémon, this event brings plenty of exciting debuts. Shiny Meloetta will make its first-ever appearance in Pokémon GO, with ticket holders receiving access to a Masterwork Research story leading to an encounter.
Additionally, the event will introduce Shiny Deerling, along with Shiny Maractus, Shiny Sigilyph, and Shiny Bouffalant, all of which will be available in 10 km Eggs.

Exciting Raid Battles and Wild Encounters

Raids will feature some of Unova’s most powerful Pokémon, with different Pokémon appearing every hour:

Five-Star Raids: Reshiram, Zekrom, Black Kyurem, White Kyurem
Three-Star Raids: Druddigon
One-Star Raids: Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott

Wild Pokémon will appear in different season-themed habitats, allowing players to experience the essence of Unova while catching rare Pokémon.
Trainers will also have access to event-exclusive Field Research tasks, as well as a Special Research story that provides deeper insights into Black Kyurem and White Kyurem. The event will also feature new location backgrounds for Pokémon caught in raids, commemorating the adventure in Los Angeles.
