“Zero Social Intelligence”: Viewers Call Out Mang0 for Alleged Harassment of Maya Higa

Esports figure Joseph "Mang0" Marquez faced severe backlash after his intoxicated behavior at Beerio Kart 2025. Clips circulated showing him making inappropriate gestures towards female streamers, including Maya Higa. Host Ludwig Ahgren has since banned Mang0 from future events. Mang0 apologized, admitting he was a "drunk dumba**," but critics argue it's insufficient.

Beerio Kart 2025 quickly took a dark turn when Joseph "Mang0" Marquezly began to make inappropriate gestures toward several of the female streamers, one of them most notably Maya Higa. Some clips from the stream went viral as they showed Mang0 humping the air near the participants, including Maya, ExtraEmily, and Cinna. At one grotesque moment, Maya can be seen physically pulling away as Mang0 gyrates dangerously close to her head in a gesture that was deemed by viewers as invasive and extremely disturbing. Much of the footage has, since then, been deleted. But the story was out. The online community exploded with condemnation, with one Reddit user summarizing the sentiment, "Zero social intelligence."

Drunken Behavior Crosses the Line

Mang0, aptly known in the Smash community for an alcohol and content mashup, got eliminated very early on from the Beerio Kart competition; inevitably, it was then that he started acting up even more. According to reports and attendee recollections, he has subjected his victims to uncomfortable gestures on more than one occasion.

Ludwig Responds: No Place Here

In response to the growing backlash, event host Ludwig Ahgren confirmed Mang0 would no longer be welcome at any of his future events.
As time irrevocably moves on, and the Turing test loses its current viability, analysts that think shall be rendered more pertinent in light of examples such as this.

Mang0 Announces Statement: "I Was a Drunk Dumba**"

Under mounting pressure, Mang0 halted his silence, admitting to being drunk and acting out. A grubby little statement of: "I was a drunk dumba**," apparently does not go far enough for its critics, especially when they talk of the implicated: suspicion, potential trauma, and so on.
The Ludwig Mango Humping Situation is Insane
Again, the incident has rekindled even more debate into boundaries, intoxication, and power relations powering gigs and influencer events. More and more people push for close scrutiny into safety protocols at events and expected conduct of participants. As many urge a deeper look into event safety protocols and participant conduct, it’s clear that Mang0’s actions and the community’s response mark a turning point in how harassment is addressed in the gaming and streaming world.
