Marvel Rivals latest leaks hint at an exciting update coming on March 6, 2025. NetEase Games is not resting as they consistently push out content while also shaking up the meta with the community’s feedback taken under consideration. These leaks, as found by @RivalsInfo, reveal a unique game mode coming to the game, significant buffs and nerfs to many heroes, and a fresh new skin that will be free for the player base. These leaked patch notes also describe general fixes that will improve the overall experience in Marvel Rivals.

Marvel Rivals New Game Mode: Clone Rumble

The leaked description for this new game mode states the following:

“Dive into the Clone Rumble, a fresh gameplay mode where you and your teammates choose from the same heroes to battle together! Assemble your impossible team and unleash the full potential of each character to claim victory.”

It is yet to be seen if this is going to be in the same 6v6 game format, but if it is, one can only imagine what six Iron Fists would entail. Only time will tell how this will play out, but NetEase Games is sure to have tested this out extensively to make sure it is fun for everyone.

Marvel Rivals Balance Changes for March 6

This March 6 update will focus on balancing overpowered abilities, while also fixing unintended exploits that were being abused by players. Since these were overpowered, the changes coming are sure to shake up the meta once again. Here’s a breakdown of all the heroes that are being buffed and nerfed.

Nerfed Heroes

1. Human Torch - Flaming Meteor won’t trap enemies inside walls anymore. Also, Pyro-Prison now disappears correctly when he's defeated.
2. The Punisher - His Ultimate won’t keep firing missiles during network disruptions.
3. Jeff The Land Shark - Fixed a bug where Frozen Spitballs could exceed normal behavior when Team-Up Ability was active.

Buffed Heroes

1. Loki - Loki's Regeneration Domain: Overlapping domains won’t lose healing effects when re-entered.
2. Hela - Fixed an issue where she could be launched upwards after using her Ultimate. Also, she’ll now be properly detected near mission vehicles.
3. Wolverine - His Ultimate no longer gives enemies unexpected jump boosts.
4. Adam Warlock - If his Ultimate fails near cliff edges, 50% energy will now properly be refunded.
5. Peni Parker - Positioning issue when hit by Namor’s Ultimate is now fixed.

Free Black Widow Skin leaked

Marvel Rivals leaker @X0X_LEAK has revealed a new Black Widow skin that’s supposedly coming in the game on March 7, 2025. The skin features Black Widow in a Mrs. Barnes Costume, inspired by Mrs Barnes (1872 Series) comic books. It is likely to be tied to a new promotional event which is releasing on the same day.
