And just like that, #IShowSpeedDMs started trending.But those messages weren’t leaked in the shady, backstabby way we’re used to seeing with celeb scandals. Turns out, Speed had already sent those DMs on stream. Yup, he did it live. With full chaos energy.

To get the full context, we need to rewind to an October 2023 stream. During one of his chaotic live streams, Speed was hopping onto random TikTok lives looking for a date. That’s when he stumbled upon Anya a.k.a. “ChopperHatGirl”, a girl wearing Tony Tony Chopper’s hat from One Piece (which, fun fact, Speed once said “saved his life”).It was instant anime-fueled chemistry. Speed told her she was beautiful, gushed over their shared love for One Piece, and asked her out right there.

But just when things were getting cute, TikTok straight-up banned him from the live, citing “sexual activity and services.” Speed was visibly shocked and said:
