Marvel Rivals isn’t simply bringing you furious fights, it’s bringing serious hero fashion, too. Their latest drop has got heads and wallets turning, with an ominous new skin for none other than Captain America. Inspired by the alien world of Klyntar, the birthplace of the Symbiotes, this epic-tier outfit combines Steve Rogers’ classic look with Venom-esque style. Here’s all you need to know to snag the new Captain Klyntar costume and what it brings to the fight.
A Twist on a Classic Hero
Marvel Rivals is now bringing that legacy to others. Captain Klyntar isn’t merely a reskin—it’s a direct call-back to a comic-book iteration of Cap that adopted a grimmer, extraterrestrial tone. The look adheres to the comic-inspired origins with a slim, armored texture and inky black hues. This design is ideal for gamers who desire their Captain America to emanate a bit more intimidating.
Despite its slick aesthetics, this skin is classified as Epic rarity, so you won’t be getting any bespoke voice or exclusive SFX. Aesthetically, it’s a knockout, particularly for dark Marvel Universe fans.
How to Unlock the Skin
Whether you’re a cosmetics completionist or simply someone who can’t say no to a Symbiote-style figure, you’ll discover unlocking Captain Klyntar is pretty simple. There are two in-game routes to obtaining this skin.
1. Through the In-Game Store
- Fire up Marvel Rivals and go right to the Store.
- Check out the New section, Captain Klyntar is everywhere!
- Scroll to locate its own bundle display.
- Pick out a la carte costume for 1400 Units or go big with the full bundle (cosmetics like emotes or sprays) for 1600 Units.
2. Captain America’s Hero Profile
- Visit the Heroes tab in-game.
- Tap Captain America and enter his Cosmetics.
- Under Costumes, find the Captain Klyntar costume.
- Click Acquire, and you’ll be taken to the same purchase options as the Store.
The Bundle Breakdown
If you’re the sort of player who appreciates a nice cosmetic full set, the Captain Klyntar Bundle is probably worth the additional 200 Units. The set does generally contain the Captain Klyntar suit, a +1 emote, a character-name specific plate and a spritz to rock your new style.
Marvel Rivals isn’t slapping out the makeup for makeup’s sake, it’s weaving together storylines with its drops every week. The concurrent drops of Captain Klyntar and Spider-Man’s Future Foundation suit foreshadow a larger Symbiote or multiverse narrative brewing. With more Klyntar-themed skins probably soon to follow, this could be your opportunity to begin fleshing out a complete alien-hero roster.
So if you’re a die-hard Cap fan or just want to blacken your roster, the Captain Klyntar skin is one of the season’s most stylish and available drops. Suit up or it flies out of the mix.
