As Borderlands is finally out, players who have pre-ordered the game will be getting special rewards. These rewards are usually cosmetic items, skins, and bonus gear that make early supporters feel appreciated. How to claim pre-order items in-game
All the pre-orders are automatically added to the respective accounts . Here is the following process on how to check and claim your rewards if not being displayed with steps of claiming other pre-order rewards.
Claiming on PlayStation and Xbox
- Players have to log in with the same account that was used for purchasing the game.
- The rewards will be automatically added and can be found within the in-game inventory after the tutorial section.
- If the content does not appear, go to the Game Library or Manage Game Content section on your console to manually download the add-ons.
Claiming on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store)
- Players on PC have to launch the game from their store client which is Steam or Epic Games.
- The rewards will be automatically linked to the player's account and available when the game starts.
- If not visible, check under DLC Management in Steam or Epic to ensure the content is enabled and installed.
Every edition of Borderlands 4 that is pre-ordered includes the Gilded Glory Pack as a pre-order bonus. While the super deluxe version includes 2 extra rewards i.e. Ornate Order Pack and Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin
The Gilded Glory Pack includes:- Vault Hunter Skin usable by all Vault Hunters
- Weapon Skin
- ECHO-4 Drone Skin
- Vault Hunter Head Cosmetics (added later)
- Four pieces of Legendary Gear:
- Level 1 Legendary Maliwan SMG
- Level 30 Legendary Ripper Grenade
- Level 30 Legendary Torque Ordnance
- Max Level Legendary Daedalus Assault Rifle
How to claim the Ornate Order Pack and Firehawk’s Fury weapon skin
These rewards are only available for Super Deluxe Edition:
- Open the Echo-4 menu in Borderlands 4.
- Navigate to Inventory.
- Under the Echo-4 section, look for a Rewards button (it will appear underneath Echo-4 as it floats in the background).
- Click on the Rewards button. The cosmetic packs (Gilded Glory, Ornate Order, Firehawk’s Fury skin, etc.) should be listed there.
- After claiming, go to the Customization menu:
- Under the Vault Hunter tab: find new skins, heads, and bodies
- Under the Weapon tab: locate the Firehawk’s Fury skin among the weapon skins list.
