Death Stranding 2 PC release date, price, and more details

Kojima Productions has officially confirmed that Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is coming to PC. After launching on PlayStation 5, the sequel will now arrive on PC on March 19, 2026. The announcement was made during a recent State of Play presentation, with pre-purchases already live on major storefronts.

PC release date confirmed

Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will come out on March 19, 2026, and it should be available at midnight in most places. The game is already available for pre-purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store, but there aren't any details on preloads yet.



The PC port is being handled by Nixxes Software (a Sony-owned studio known for bringing PlayStation titles to PC).

Death Stranding 2 price

The standard edition of Death Stranding 2 is priced at $69.99 approx. Meanwhile, the Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $79.99.

Players who pre-purchase the game will receive bonus content, including:

• Custom Hologram: Quokka (early unlock)
• Silver Battle, Boost, and Bokka Skeletons (Lv1-Lv3)

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes additional cosmetic patches, early weapon unlocks, and Gold Skeleton variants.

PC features and improvements

The PC version promises several enhancements. These include:

• Unlocked frame rates
• Frame generation support
• Upscaling options
• Ultrawide monitor support (21:9 and 32:9)
• 4K resolution support

Players can use full mouse and keyboard controls or connect a DualSense controller for haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support. The game also supports 3D audio technologies such as Dolby Access and DTS Sound Unbound.



In this sequel, players once again control Sam Porter Bridges as he works to connect Australia to the Chiral Network. The open world features changing weather, natural disasters, and varied terrain. Combat is still flexible, so players can fight, sneak, or run away from enemies.

The Social Strand System is back, and players can aid each other indirectly by creating things and leaving resources in shared areas.

Kojima Productions has also said that the PC version would come with new modes and challenges. It is interesting that these new features will also be available on PS5, so all systems will get the same content updates.
