The latest survival FPS of Rebellion, Atomfall, takes the players to a brutal post-apocalyptic world where the choice of weapon creates the difference between life and death. With the massive available arsenal, knowing which of the guns dominate gives players a crucial edge. Below is a breakdown of the best and ultimate Atomfall weapons you must use or avoid based on the tier they fall in.
S and A-Tier Atomfall weapon for dominance
S-tier and A-tier weapons include some of the best you can have for better gameplay. While the S-tier is the best of the game’s weapons, the A-tier is optimum but comes with certain minor flaws. So, if you are to secure match eliminations easily, the S-tier weapons are what you must prefer.
Within the S-tier, these are the weapons available.
- Leamington 12-Gauge reigns supreme in the close-quarters combat. It can shred your enemies, even before they get a chance to react.
- For mid-range dominance, Stengun MK2 (a better alternative) and Peerless SMG offer rapid firepower. While the former comes with a lower fire rate, the latter has an expansive one. It can deal with multiple opponents— not in long range.
- Terrier .22 Rifle remains unmatched for its long-range precision.
As part of the A-tier, the weapon list includes,
- Lee No. 4 sniper and JM-3 Bullup Rifle can deliver reliable damage. While the former can deliver damage in medium to long counters (precise shots), the latter is best for tight space fights.
- The Bow, on the other hand, excels in the stealth kills.
- Falkirk Battle Rifle is a rugged weapon with some piercing bullets that fall short of a better fire rate.
- MK.VI Revolver is reliable for the blow-to-head destruction of enemy weapons.
- The handguns like Hi-Power 9MM and M.1911 (secondary firearm) are some solid backups. However, these handguns lack S-tier weapons and raw power.
Note: Between April 1 and 7, 2025, watch Atomfall streaming, with the drops enabled for earning some exclusive weapon skins. Do not miss it, as the rewards will not return!
B and C-tier weapons: When to use and avoid?
While B-tier weapons are not as good as A and S-tier weapons, they can be used in certain cases. However, for the C-tier weapons, it’s highly recommended to avoid them and use them only in emergencies.
The B-tier weapons,
- Broadside Auto 5 and Enfield LMG can hold, but they struggle when compared to top-tier guns. While the former allows for multiple shots to get results in seconds, the latter is effective against the enemy horde.
- Eastleigh Hunting Shotgun, on the other hand, can balance with the kick-back effect, which is manageable.
- Terrier .22 is good for shooting or hunting (not for long range) with a manageable recoil.
C-tier melee weapons,
- Sickle, Axe, and Police Truncheon are only viable if the player is left with no other choice. An Axe can deliver brutal blows in enclosed spaces, while the Police Truncheon can demolish the enemy with blunt force.
- A Cricket Bat can be used best to crush the skulls of opponents.
- While the Hatchet can pierce enemies with strung and volts delivery, the Stun Stick delivers devastating attacks, charged by several volts of current.
- A Knife is helpful if you are out of ammo, and a Heavy Survival knife offers a great balance to deliver slow yet finishing blows.
If you are stuck with the C-tier weapons, especially Mace, Spiked Club, or Club, it’s time to either swap them or focus on the ambush tactics. They will require a lot of hits to secure the kill.
Ultimately, mastering the Atomfall means knowing which of the weapons will offer you an upper hand. Try and stick to the A-tier choices. You will surely dominate the wasteland with complete ease.
Remember that these weapons play an important role in enhancing a player’s gaming experience. So, use it and ensure you can have the edge in combat situations. Also, practicing the weapons in varied scenarios will help to identify the best strategies for each of the best weapon classes. It will improve the gameplay and make your weapon selection more effective and intuitive.
