Battlefield 6 is finally here. Although it is in its open beta phase, fans are not stopping themselves from pre-loading the game, so that they don’t miss a single second when the game actually gets released on October 10, 2025.
Despite being in its beta stage, the game has already garnered a huge base of 250,000 players. Not only that, EA is leaving no stones unturned to make this launch massive, by giving huge rewards to players, be it via Twitch Drops or through pre-order bonuses.

Just like any other game, Battlefield 6 will have two editions - the Standard Edition and the premium version called Phantom Edition. However, both editions will be released on the same day, cutting off any hope of early access for the Phantom Edition holders. Still they are going to get so much more stuff to make up for their extra spending.
Talking about spending, the Standard Edition of the game is going to be priced at $70 for all platforms. On the other hand, the Phantom Edition will cost $100. However, both the editions will have the same pre-order bonuses. Here are they:
- Tombstone Pack
- Soldier Patch and Weapon Sticker
- Fallen Heroes Player Card
Now, it’s not that the extra $30 you are paying for the Phantom Edition is going all vain. This edition comes with its own perks and benefits. Here’s what will you get if you buy the Phantom Edition of Battlefield 6:
- 4 Phantom Squad soldier skins
- Shrouded and Drop Shadow Weapon Packages
- Knife skin
- Stickers,
- Patches
- Dogtag
- Chimera Vehicle Skin
- Phantom XP Boost Set
- Battlefield Pro Token (Battle Pass and 25 tier skips with exclusive unlocks)
Which Battlefield 6 edition should you buy?
If you are looking to give your Battlefield 6 a huge headstart, and level up faster than anyone in the game, then the Phantom Edition is going to be your ideal choice as it comes with advanced Battle Pass tier progression, exclusive cosmetics, and many more.
But if you want to rely on the game itself to grow and wait for collective user feedback, then go for the Standard Edition, because it’s going to deliver the whole gaming experience as well, just like the Phantom Edition at $30 less price but without the luxury of tier skips and cosmetic flair.
