Glass in LEGO Fortnite Odyssey isn’t just some shiny extra—it’s the key to crafting next-level items. But getting your hands on it? Not so simple. You’ll need to grind for materials, brave the scorching Dry Valley, and set up a Metal Smelter to get the job done.

Sounds like a lot? Don’t stress! Here’s the fastest, most efficient way to get Glass without losing your mind.

Step 1: Prepare for the Dry Valley

To get Glass, you need Sand and Brightcore, both found in Dry Valley—the game’s desert biome. But before you start collecting materials, you need to prepare for the scorching heat of the Dry Valley biome. If you wander in unprepared, you’ll overheat fast.
Here’s how to stay cool:

• Snowberry Shakes – Make these at a Juicer using 2 Snow Berries + 1 Milk for 10 minutes of heat protection.
• Cool-Headed Charm – Craft this at a Crafting Bench using Heavy Wool Thread, Frost Shells, Sand Brute Scale, and Malachite Slabs.

Step 2: Gather Materials

To craft 1 Glass, you need:

• 2 Sand – Found by digging anywhere in Dry Valley. Use a Common Shovel (crafted from Wooden Rods + Plank).
• 1 Brightcore – Found in lava-filled caves in Dry Valley. You’ll need a Rare Pickaxe (or better) to mine it.

Bonus: You might also need Obsidian and Blast Core later, so grab them if you come across any while exploring caves.

Step 3: Upgrade Your Village (Level 9)

You can’t make Glass without a Metal Smelter, and to unlock the Metal Smelter blueprint, your Village needs to be Level 9. To upgrade from Level 8 to Level 9, collect:

• 15 Flexwood – Chop down cacti in Dry Valley (requires a Rare Forest Axe).
• 15 Obsidian – Found in lava caves (mine with a Rare Pickaxe).
• 10 Cut Amber – Get Rough Amber in Dry Valley and process it at a Gem Cutter.

Turn these in at the Village Hub, level up, and boom—you’re ready for the next step!

Step 4: Build a Metal Smelter

With Village Level 9 unlocked, you can now build the Metal Smelter from the Build > Utility menu. Here’s what you need:

• 15 Brightcore (from Dry Valley caves).
• 35 Obsidian Slabs (process Obsidian at a Stone Breaker).
• 3 Blast Core (dropped by enemies in caves).

Step 5: Smelt Glass!

Follow these steps to make glass:

1. Open your Metal Smelter.
2. Add 2 Sand + 1 Brightcore per Glass piece.
3. Wait for it to process… and voila—you’ve got Glass!
