Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Yakuza Crossover: Expected Release Date, Skins, More

News of Fortnite’s Yakuza crossover has got fandoms of both franchises excited. ShiinaBR, who’s best known for leaking Fortnite news recently posted about the Yakuza collaboration on X which claims that Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima, who are both part of Sega's Yakuza or Like a Dragon series are coming to Fortnite. Kiryu was a protagonist in the series at one point, but Majima leads their latest game, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is releasing on February 21, 2025, Epic Games has confirmed. As per reports, Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii releases on February 20 and Fortnite's next season drops the following day. The C6S1 battle pass will end on February 21 at 2 am ET (7 am UK time). Some possible collabs that are also happening in Chapter 6 Season 2, include Blade Runner 2049, Fast and Furious, Devil May Cry, Sabrina Carpenter, WWE and AC Milan.

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2’s “Lawless” theme would perfectly complement Yakuza’s crime-driven narrative. Details about Fortnite's Like A Dragon crossover are sparse right now but the leaks claim two of the characters from the series that will be getting Fortnite skins, Kiryu Kazuma and Goro Majima. If true, Kiryu will most likely be wearing his grey suit, and Majima will be in his snakeskin jacket.

However, each of them may have more than one skin and as per the leaks, Majima might have a pirate outfit for his Fortnite vacation. The Mad Dog style and the Cabaret Manager style are also likely to make an appearance. Epic Games is also expected to release a range of themed cosmetics, including back blings, pickaxes and Emotes inspired by the Yakuza universe.
It’s important to note that Like a Dragon has many characters. And now that Kiryu and Majima are part of the collab, many hope to see Ichiban or others. There could also be other anime or animated crossover stories that are coming to Fortnite soon, like the popular animated sitcom King of the Hill. Another possible franchise is Demon Slayer since both were teased to have been in the works back in November of last year.
