All new weapons in Fortnite update v34.21

Fortnite’s latest update, v34.21, landed on April 1 with a bang - quite literally, as the battle royale introduced a slew of new weapons and reintroduced fan favorites, giving players a fresh arsenal to battle it out in Chapter 6 Season 2. This patch not only kickstarts the highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat crossover but also shakes up Fortnite's current meta with exciting gameplay changes.

Mythic Scorpion’s Kombat Kit

Leading the update is the Mythic Scorpion’s Kombat Kit, a melee powerhouse that ties directly into the Mortal Kombat collaboration. Once players defeat Scorpion at one of the three new POIs - The Pit, The Living Forest, or The Dead Pool - they’ll be rewarded with this fiery weapon. The Kombat Kit includes a Punch Attack, Fire Breath, and a deadly Spear Throw that drags enemies towards you, staying true to the iconic “Get over here!” move.

The Mythic version has no durability limitations and deals higher damage, making it a must-have for close-range combatants looking to dominate the island.

First Blood Medallion

Another key addition is the First Blood Medallion, which adds explosive flair to gunplay. Once equipped, the first bullet fired from every magazine will trigger an explosion upon impact. While the damage boost is modest, it offers a tactical advantage in initial engagements and high-pressure fights.

Scoped Burst SMG (Unvaulted)

Returning from the vault, the Scoped Burst SMG has re-entered the loot pool. Known for its accuracy and mid-range utility, the weapon combines the precision of a burst-fire rifle with the mobility of an SMG, offering versatility for those who prefer calculated bursts over spray-and-pray tactics.

TwinMag AR (Unvaulted)

Back in action is the TwinMag AR, a favorite for aggressive players. While its damage has been slightly nerfed, reduced by three hit points per shot - the weapon retains its signature dual-magazine system for rapid reloads and relentless pressure during firefights.

Infiltrator Pump Shotgun (Unvaulted & Buffed)

The Infiltrator Pump Shotgun returns with a buff, its damage has been increased by 20%, making it a lethal choice for up-close skirmishes. The weapon is expected to become a new favourite among shotgun enthusiasts looking to replace older options.
