NEW DELHI: Founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani, and New Zealand Deputy Prime Minister, Winston Peters, graced the Women's Premier League (WPL) match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday.

In a gathering that included Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sharma and joint secretary Rajan Manchanda, the presence of Ambani and Peters added prestige to the event.

The match witnessed a remarkable performance by star player Ellyse Perry, who produced a historic first-ever six-wicket haul in the Women's Premier League. Perry's outstanding effort propelled Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to a crucial victory over defending champions Mumbai Indians, securing their spot in the playoffs.



With this win, RCB concluded their campaign in the third position, having secured four wins and four losses, accumulating a total of eight points. They are now set to face either MI or Delhi Capitals in the eliminator clash.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Indians, positioned second with five wins and three losses, totaling 10 points, are gearing up for the upcoming playoffs with strong prospects.
