NEW DELHI: Mumbai Indians made the smart buy at the Women's Premier League as Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur came much cheaper for them at Rs just 1.80 crore which is not even among the top two buys of the team.
Mumbai shelled out Rs 3.20 crore to sign England all-rounder Natalie Sciver-Brunt, 10 times more the highest salary in the women's Hundred run by the England and Wales Cricket Board.
Mumbai bagged the services of Pooja Vastrakar for Rs 1.9 crore after engaging in intense bidding wars with Delhi Capitals and UP Warriorz.
