Alice Capsey scored the bulk of runs and managed to impose herself on the opponent bowlers but after being hit for four boundaries on a trot it was Preeti Bose who had the last laugh as she took the wicket of Alice Capsey. Right then, Bangalore have posted a decent total of 150 runs on the board and they will hope for their bowlers to defend this and open their account on the points table. For Delhi, the onus is on their batters to put up a gritty show and chase this down. Let's see how things unfurl in the second half. Chase coming up shortly...

Delhi will be a bit upset with how things ended up for them. Let me remind you that Bangalore were reeling at 68/3 inside 14 overs and they scored 82 runs in the remaining 6 overs. Shikha Pandey was the pick of the bowlers as she chipped in with three wickets and was very economical. Tara Norris picked up one wicket but was a bit expensive for her liking. Marizanne Kapp was the most economical of all but she remained wicketless.

Bangalore were under the pump all throughout their innings but they geared up at the end really well. They will be thankful to Ellyse Perry and Richa Ghosh who stitched a partnership of 74 runs off 34 deliveries and made them reach a good total of 150 runs. The former scored an unbeaten knock of 67 runs while the latter was dismissed on 37 runs.
