WATCH: Cheteshwar Pujara bats with water bottle in his pocket

The Rajkot weather has been quite draining. The temparauture in Rajkot on Thursday touched 38 degrees celcius. No wonder then, India batsman Cheteshwar Pujara was spotted carrying a water bottle in his pocket while batting on Day 1 of the first Test vs the West Indies. Pujara, in a video uploaded by BCCI on its Twitter handle, was seen drinking water during the break and then kept the water bottle in his pocket and resumed batting.

Pujara scored a magnificent 86 and put on a solid 206-run partnership with 18-year-old debutant Prithvi Shaw before being dismissed by Sherman Lewis.
Pujara’s 130-ball knock had 14 boundaries.
Pujara, playing on his home ground, was typically solid, waiting patiently for loose deliveries to pick up boundaries. He edged behind to become debutant fast bowler Lewis's maiden Test wicket.
The second Test of the two-match series will be played in Hyderabad from October 12-16.
