Ravindra Jadeja is now giving an interview to Sanjay Manjrekar. The all-rounder says that he is happy on getting a ton after 9 years in international cricket. Details that in the past, he used to get out in the 70s and 80s, thinking about the century. But today, he finally managed to get past that mental hurdle. Admits that he too, is surprised and disappointed that he has never got a hundred and is very happy that he eventually got one, which he will remember for a long time. On being reminded about his 80-odd against England recently, he says that in that inning, Anderson and Broad were bowling really well and the conditions were overcast as well, which means not much was there in the batsmen's favour. Hence, he was only thinking about scoring runs. First 50, then move on from there and keep going. Talking about being given opportunities, he remembers that he was given a chance after 15 months, where he spent time away from ODI cricket. (The topic has diverted to Asia Cup by the way). Admits that he felt the pressure to perform - but to himself, not for others. Further says that he is enjoying his cricket. On being asked about his affected run out today, he explains that when he saw both Hetmyer and Ambris at one end, he thought that there is no need to hurry and hence he was walking towards the stumps. But suddenly, he saw Hetmyer running and had a shy. Is embarrassed about what would have happened had he missed and considers himself lucky that his shy found the mark.

Is this Indian attack the best in the world? No Bhuvi. No Bumrah. No Ishant. Yet they have piled on the pressure on the opposition. Agreed, the Windies are not that technically sound but this is a terrific team bowling effort. First, you need to see the new-ball bowlers off in Shami or Bumrah or Bhuvi. Then, you encounter the spin of Ashwin or Jadeja or Kuldeep. The main bowlers did well in England. And here, the bench has strutted its stuff.

The opening batsmen were clueless against the guile of Shami while the middle order was consumed by spin. Then of course, some generosity was produced as well in a run out and a wild shot. Overall, nothing much to describe in the tourists' batting, except for Roston Chase, who has shown the gumption to survive.

A forgettable couple of days for the visiting side. First, they were pummeled mercilessly with the bat and then, have been almost skittled out in not even half the time. The players look fagged out under the heat and have simply not turned up.
