CUTTACK: Team India will relish some delicious Odia cuisines after playing the T20 international match against Sri Lanka at

To provide the players a flavor of Odia delicacies,

Odisha Cricket Association

OCA

) has decided to serve Santula (mix vegetable curry), chuna macha besar (a fish curry prepared with small fish and mustard paste) and famous sweet dish "chhena poda" to the players after the match.

Both Team India and Team Sri Lanka follow a strict diet before the match. So during practice session on Tuesday at Barabati stadium, the players were served food as per the menu fixed by their dieticians.

However, Team India officials had inquired about less spicy and less oily Odia cuisines which can suit the diet of players and they can try it. "We suggested santula and macha besar dishes and they agreed to taste it. Both the dishes will be prepared by experts with fresh ingredients and served to the players on Wednesday after the match," said

of MS catering agency, the agency hired by OCA to serve food to the players.

Famous chenna poda (baked cheese cake) will also be served to the players. "In the past, we have served chenna poda many times to the Indian cricketers during match and many of them have appreciated it. This time also sugar free chenna poda will be served to the players," said Dilip.

The delicacies will also be served to the Sri Lankan team.
