on Friday to equal the world record held by
David Miller of South Africa.
Rohit hit eight sixes and 11 fours to reach the landmark as he and his opening partner KL Rahul toyed with hapless Sri Lanka attack.

It is the fastest hundred by an Indian across format. And it came after the mercurial Mumbai batsman scored his record-extending third double ton in ODIs against the same opponent with 208 not out off 153 deliveries in the second one-day international in Mohali.
India lead the three-match series 1-0 after winning the first match by a record 93 runs on Wednesday.
