Considering the nature of the pitch, 162 is a challenging target. The outcome of the match hinges now on Sri Lanka's batting response. If their top order can establish a solid foundation and counter the West Indies bowling attack effectively, they stand a good chance of successfully chasing down the score. On the bowling front, Sri Lanka initially made inroads into the West Indies batting lineup but were unable to break the pivotal partnership between Powell and Motie in a timely manner. Star bowlers Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana both claimed two wickets apiece, yet their efforts fell short of stifling the West Indies' recovery.

So, the West Indies have posted a score of 162 runs on the board! After a tumultuous start, the West Indies found themselves in a precarious position at 62 for 5 in the 12th over. However, a crucial partnership between Rovman Powell and Gudakesh Motie provided much-needed stability. This duo stitched together a rapid 54 runs off just 26 balls, allowing the West Indies to regain their footing. After Motie was dismissed, Powell continued to anchor the innings, finishing with a commendable score of 37 runs, propelling the West Indies to a competitive total of 162 runs.
