Nqaba Peter returns to the Paarl Royals at R500,000. The South African wristspinner was snapped up immediately as Sanga raised the paddle, securing him at his base price. This pick also marked the conclusion of this auction.

Eshan Malinga makes a return to the Paarl Royals, coming in at R1 million. Imran Tahir, 46 and still a force in the CPL, re-entered the auction at R500,000. Joburg Super Kings opened the bidding, with Paarl Royals challenging in the final rounds. Tahir was eventually sold to JSK for R600,000.

Reece Topley, the England left-arm seamer, joined JSK for his base price of R1 million without any competition.

India-born American all-rounder Shubham Ranjane, who also features for the Super Kings in Major League Cricket, came up next at a base price of R200,000. Joburg Super Kings secured him immediately without competition, picking him up for his base price.
