Women's U-19 Asia Cup: India face arch-rivals Pakistan on December 15

MUMBAI: Under-19 World champions India will take on arch-rivals Pakistan on December 15 as the Asian Cricket Council on Wednesday announced the schedule for the inaugural Women's Under-19 Asia Cup 2024 to be held in Malaysia.

The Women's U-19 Asia Cup will take place from Dec 15 to 22 at the Bayuemas Cricket Oval. The final will take place on December 22.

The tournament will kick off with Sri Lanka taking on hosts Malaysia at 9.30am on Dec 15, followed by the marquee India versus Pakistan clash at 2pm.


India, Pakistan and Nepal form Group A while Group B comprises Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia. The group matches will be followed by the fifth place playoff match on Dec 18.

The ACC had last Friday announced that the Men’s U-19 Asia Cup 2024 will begin on November 29 and in the United Arab Emirates, across Sharjah and Dubai, with India taking on Pakistan on November 30.
