Smith, known for his aggressive stroke play, took the bait, attempting to loft the ball over the infield. However, he found himself ensnared by the clever fielding placement as the ball went straight into the waiting hands of Babar Azam at short extra cover.
Azam showcased excellent reflexes and perfectly timed his jump to secure the catch, dismissing the formidable Smith.
