Mohammed Siraj returned to the country on Wednesday, landing in Mumbai after a heroic performance in the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, where India drew 2-2 against England. The 31-year-old fast bowler was the leading wicket-taker in the five-match Test series, finishing with 23 scalps at an average of 32.43.

Since his Test debut in 2020, Siraj has bowled 1069.5 overs, taking 123 wickets in 41 Tests—only behind Bumrah in terms of workload among Indian pacers.
