In a heartfelt video going viral on social media, MS Dhoni is seen seeking permission before cutting cake on his 44th birthday.The former India captain on Monday turned 44 and is seen celebrating with his friends in Ranchi.

Before putting the knife on the cake, Dhoni asks, “Kaat de? (Can I cut it now?)”Once he got the go-ahead with the guy making the video saying “Ji sir,” Dhoni cut the cake and made sure everyone present got a piece of it.
As ODI captain, Dhoni led India in 200 matches, securing 110 victories with a winning percentage of 55. His captaincy achievements include winning the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.In T20 Internationals, Dhoni played 98 matches, scoring 1,617 runs at an average of 37.60 and a strike rate of 126.13. He captained India to victory in the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup and led the team in 72 T20Is, winning 41 matches with a win percentage of 56.94.His Test cricket career spans 90 matches, during which he scored 4,876 runs at an average of 38.09, including six centuries and 33 half-centuries. His highest Test score stands at 224, ranking him as India’s 14th-highest Test run-scorer.
As Test captain, Dhoni led India in 60 matches, winning 27 and achieving a win percentage of 45.00. Under his leadership, India reached the number one position in the ICC Test Rankings and completed two whitewash series victories against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.In franchise cricket, particularly the Indian Premier League (IPL), Dhoni ranks as the sixth-highest run-getter with 5,439 runs in 278 matches, maintaining an average of 38.30 with 24 fifties. His leadership has brought Chennai Super Kings (CSK) five IPL titles and two Champions League T20 titles.
