South Africa was bowled out for 106 runs in their match against Afghanistan. Afghan bowlers Fazalhaq Farooqi, with figures of 4-35, and AM Ghazanfar, who took 3-20, played a key role in limiting the South African batting lineup, setting the stage for Afghanistan to chase down the target.

AM Ghazanfar dismissed Tristian Stubbs and Jason Smith without scoring a run.

Afghanistan had a rocky start during their chase, losing Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah early on, which put them at 15-2. Further wickets fell as Bjorn Fortuin got Riaz Hassan and Aiden Markram dismissed Hashmatullah Shahidi.

However, Azmatullah Omarzai, who remained not out on 25, and Gulbadin Naib, who scored 34 off 27 balls, ensured Afghanistan's victory in 26 overs.

South Africa elected to bat first after winning the toss but struggled from the outset. Farooqi took the early wickets of Reeza Hendricks, Markram, and Tony de Zorzi. Ghazanfar dismissed Tristan Stubbs, Jason Smith, and Kyle Verreynne.

Andile Phehlukwayo was run-out by Nabi, leaving South Africa at 36-7 after just 10 overs.

A partnership between Wiaan Mulder and Bjorn Fortuin provided some relief, adding 39 runs for the eighth wicket and pushing their team past 100 runs. Mulder scored his first ODI fifty before being dismissed by Farooqi for 52 off 84 balls.
