Chasing 188 for a win, Vidarbha's Prerit (51; 38b, 6x4, 2x6) and Aman (85 n.o; 83b, 12x4) helped reach the destination after losing 3 wickets in just 29.2 overs. They chased at a run rate of 6.41.

Prerit and Aman gave a flying start to Vidarbha by scoring 83 runs in the 11 overs they played. Prerit was the dominant contributor and hit 2 sixes. Aman joined hands with Yash Rathod (24) and took Vidarbha close to the destination by adding 49 runs off 47 balls for the second wicket.

Earlier, Praful (10-2-23-4) proved the decision to bowl first right. He along with Dushyant Tekan (9-0-25-1) kept things tight. They bowled in tandem and created pressure on the batters.

Among the spinners, Yash Kadam (10-1-38-3) exploited the good work by the pacers and grabbed 3 wickets. Odisha would have stayed well below 187 if they would not have scored 25 runs in the last over of the innings.
