Sachin Tendulkar’s remarkable cricketing intellect, recalling moments when the former India captain’s ability to read the game left him in disbelief has resurfaced on social media.
In a video shared on the official X handle of Tendulkar’s app 100MB, Bachchan described the batting maestro as more than just a player. “Sachin is wonderful, an artist. A couple of times, I had the privilege of watching a
cricket game with him. I couldn’t possibly tell you how much knowledge he has of the sport,” Bachchan said.

The actor recounted how Tendulkar would often predict the course of play with stunning accuracy. “The game will be going on, and he will point out that the bowler will bowl here and that the fielder is standing in a wrong position and that he should be there. And it would happen exactly the way he said. Unbelievable knowledge of the game, being able to predict what will happen next,” Bachchan added.
The Tendulkar family has been in the spotlight recently, following the engagement of Arjun Tendulkar to Saaniya Chandhok, granddaughter of prominent Mumbai businessman Ravi Ghai.
Adding to the celebrations, Sachin shared another proud moment this week as his daughter Sara Tendulkar launched her own Pilates studio. Taking to social media, the cricket icon expressed his joy: “As a parent, you always hope your children find something they truly love doing. Watching Sara open a Pilates studio has been one of those moments that fills our hearts. She has built this journey with her own hard work and belief, brick by brick.”
