CHENNAI: Centurions Vishnu Vinod (138, 11x4, 9x6) and P Rahul (102, 10x4) were the main contributors for Kerala as they scored 380 on Day 1 of their Kalpathi AGS Buchi Babu clash against Assam at the CPT-IP ground here on Tuesday. The duo added 108 in 23.5 overs for the second wicket that provided the foundation for Kerala.
Meanwhile, Sheldon Jackson's 106-ball 120 was the cornerstone for Saurashtra as they finished with a total of 236 against Haryana at the Guru Nanak College ground.

Sheldon's innings contained 10 fours and 7 sixes and he received good support from teammate Snell Patel (69) with whom he added 189 runs for the third wicket in 34.2 overs. For Haryana, left-arm spinner Chaitanya Bishnoi (5-26) was the wrecker-in-chief. In reply, Haryana were placed at 101 for four in 38 overs with Guntash Veer Singh (29 batting) and Rohit Sharma (25 batting) at the crease.
Baroda, in their match against Hyderabad, rode Abhijit Karambelkar's (100, 8x4) patient knock to post 308 for 8. For Hyderabad, Mehdi Hasan (4 for 117) and Akash Bhandari (2 for 83) shone with the ball.

Zeeshan, hailing from Lucknow, was the on the money from the word go and had Mumbai batsmen in all sorts of trouble at the SRMC grounds. Zeeshan received handy support from Imtiyaz Ahmed (3 for 35). For Mumbai, Hardik Tamore (72, 10x4, 1x6) was the leading run-scorer. In reply, Uttar Pradesh were 43 for one.
