CHENNAI: After having played for Tuti Patriots in the first three seasons of the
Tamil Nadu Premier League

will be turning up for
Chepauk Super Gillies
in the upcoming edition of the league.
Tuti Patriots, who won the inaugural edition of the competition in 2016 and were the finalists in 2017, have also let go of their left-arm spinner Sai Kishore who will now be turning up for the
Ruby Trichy Warriors
.
Sai Kishore was traded for Vasanth Saravanan. R Sathish is another prominent player whom Tuti has traded for Subramania Siva. Sathish will be turning up for VB Kanchi Veerans.
The players' trading window - which concludes on June 29 - allows franchisees to buy or sell up to a maximum of 3 players. A draft to fill up the released players and /or to pick maximum squad of 22 players is scheduled to be held on July 4.
Chepauk to face Dindigul in TNPL-4 opener: The fourth edition of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (
TNPL
) will commence on July 19 with a clash between Chepauk Super Gillies and
Dindigul Dragons
at NPR College ground in Natham, Dindigul. Defending champions Siechem Madurai Panthers will kick off their campaign the next day by taking on Tuti Patriots in Dindigul.
In total, 32 matches will be held this season with the final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium on August 18. The first qualifier and eliminator will be held at ICL - Sankar Nagar ground in Tirunelveli while the second qualifier will take place in Dindigul.
Apart from the final, the MA Chidambaram Stadium will host just one other game - a league encounter between Chepauk Super Gillies and Lyca Kovai Kings on August 4.
