(T Nagar) on Tuesday. Chaturved's 220-ball essay contained 12 fours and one six. For the bowling side, Ashwin Ram led the way with figures of 3 for 37.
Jalaj Saxena (110) was the star of the show for Young Stars as they took a 61-run lead over their opponents India Pistons. Jalaj received handy support from teammate Tushar Raheja (67). For India Pistons, Harish Kumar (2-39), R Karthikeyan (2-62) and Maan K Bafna (2-29) shone with the ball.
In another match, KB Arun Karthik's 94 helped Vijay CC grab a 80-run lead over TI Cycles on the second day. For TI Cycles, Varun Sood (5 for 70) and Sanjay Yadav (4 for 47) were the pick of the lot. In their second innings, TI Cycles were in a spot of bother at 84 for 5.
U Mukilesh's 139 propelled Alwarpet CC to 401 in their match against Globe Trotters. For the bowling side, Chetan Sakariya (5-78) was the wrecker-in-chief. Ashwath Mukunthan (2 for 91) and MS Sanjay (2 for 125) too found themselves on the wicket-takers' list. In reply, Globe Trotters were 127 for 2 with C Hari Nishaanth (64 n.o.) at the crease.
Meanwhile, R Alexander's 7 for 97 saw CromBest dismiss Grand Slam for 314. However, CromBest found themselves in trouble at 150 for 6 in their first innings. R Sai Kishore (3 for 39) topped the bowling charts for Grand Slam.
