Matkar took his hat-trick in his fourth over, dismissing Karan Surayya (lbw), Ashay Dube (caught behind) and Atharva Kardile (bowled). "I had bowled well in the previous three matches too, but didn't get many wickets. Today, it all came together for me. I'm happy that I bagged a hat-trick. I want to play for Mumbai again," Matkar, who had scored a hundred earlier against DY Patil B, told TOI.

Tamore was a part of Mumbai's team which qualified for the Ranji Trophy knockouts by winning two of their three games recently, but, with senior wicketkeeper Aditya Tare being there, couldn't get a game.
"It's nice to score a hundred after getting to play after a long time. It was an important game for our team," said Tamore. At the Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana, Anup Fulpar's 169 (202b, 24x4, 4x6) helped Income-Tax Sports & Recreation Club 'A' score 313 against Jain Irrigation. BPCL, who received a bye, are already in the final after having scored three outright wins in four rounds.
