MUMBAI: In a big boost to Mumbai, dashing batsman
Suryakumar Yadav will be available to them for their second
Ranji Trophy match against Hyderabad at the Mumbai Cricket Association's ground in BKC from December 20.
On Saturday, the Mumbai senior selectors, led by former India pacer Salil Ankola, picked Yadav in place of young allrounder Suryansh Shedge, who received his maiden Ranji call-up in the last match, while the rest of the squad remains the same.
Yadav missed the first Ranji game against Andhra, which Mumbai won by wickets at Vizianagaram, as he had taken a break after the white-ball tour of New Zealand.
Yadav, who has been practicing at BKC for the last few days, needs some match practice before the white-ball series against Sri Lanka, which starts on his home ground at the Wankhede Stadium here on January 3.
