NEW DELHI: A furious Suresh Raina came down heavily on certain online portals which have been spreading fake news of him being involved in a car accident. The swashbuckling left-hander in a tweet rubbished these reports, clarifying that he is in good health. Raina though said the rumors have deeply disturbed his family and friends and that the Youtube channels spreading the fake news have been reported. He hopes strict action will be taken against them.


Here’s what Suresh Raina wrote on his official Twitter handle.



The clarification from the 32-year-old came after fake news of him being seriously injured in an accident began doing the rounds. The fake videos attracted thousands of views on Youtube.



Raina, however is not the only one who has been a victim of these kind of rumors.

Last year, in the month of December, fake reports of the demise of New Zealand all-rounder Nathan McCullum spread like wildfire.


McCullum’s younger brother Brendon also rubbished the reports but was much more furious with this attempt to spread fake news.
