Shikhar Dhawan shares heartfelt advice for son Zoravar amidst divorce challenges
Former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan, who has not seen his 11-year-old son Zoravar for years following a bitter divorce with ex-wife Ayesha Mukherjee in 2023, recently shared emotional advice for his son during a podcast conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia, while also discussing how he copes with the separation through spirituality.
The separation has resulted in complete disconnection between Dhawan and his son, as Ayesha has blocked him from all social media platforms, preventing any form of communication.

Despite the challenging circumstances, Dhawan maintains he has processed the situation emotionally and stays connected to his son spiritually.
During his appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast, Dhawan shared the advice he would give his son when Zoravar reaches the age of 31 or 32.
"20 saal baad Zoravar hi 31-32 ka ho jayega. Zoravar ko yahi bolunga ki life mei khush rehna chahiye. Joh bhi kar khush reh. Khush rehne ke joh taur tarike hai woh hai ki apne andar jhako. Kamiyan ko dekho. Kya strength hai aur unko better. Bas yahi kehna hai, khush hi rhena hai."
In a previous interview with ANI, Dhawan opened up about how he manages the pain of separation through spiritual practices and personal development.
"It has been two years since I have seen my son, one year since I last spoke to him. It has been difficult, but you learn to live with it. I miss him and speak to him spiritually… I feel through affirmations that I am conversing with him every day, hugging him. I put my energy into it spiritually."

The cricketer has recently moved forward in his personal life, making his relationship with Sophie Shine public through social media.
In May, Dhawan officially announced his relationship with Sophie Shine on Instagram, sharing a photograph together and referring to her as his 'love', which put an end to speculation about their relationship that had been circulating since their public appearances together.
The relationship announcement marks a new chapter in Dhawan's life, even as he continues to maintain a spiritual connection with his son despite their physical separation.
Throughout this period, Dhawan has demonstrated resilience in handling the personal challenges while maintaining a positive outlook and finding new ways to stay connected with his son through spiritual means.
The situation highlights the complex nature of divorce outcomes and their impact on parent-child relationships, while also showing how individuals cope with such circumstances through various personal methods and beliefs.
Dhawan's openness about his situation and the advice he hopes to share with his son in the future reflects his ongoing emotional investment in their relationship, despite the current circumstances preventing direct contact.
