HYDERABAD: Middler-order batter
Sarfaraz Khan dazzled with his first century of the season — an unbeaten 142 (164b, 11x4, 5x6), while captain
Siddhesh Lad continued his rich vein of form striking this season’s fourth ton (104; 179b, 10x4, 2x6) to guide Mumbai to 332/4 against Hyderabad on the first day of the
Ranji Trophy sixth round match on Thursday. The duo benefited from shabby fielding by the hosts. Lad was dropped on 16 at the first slip by Nitish Reddy off Mohammed Siraj and Sarfaraz was let off on 54 when Sai Nitin Yadav misjudged a catch on the mid-wicket boundary off Rohit Rayudu.
