CHENNAI: India Pistons' left-arm spinner Rajwinder Singh shone with 7 for 45 to put his side on top against AG's Office in their TNCA first division clash here on Monday. On a day when 19 wickets fell, India Pistons - who batted first - managed just 156. For AG's Office, left-arm spinner Parth Bhut (5 for 36) was the star of the show. In reply, AG's Office fared worse as they were struggling at 95 for 9 with Rajwinder being the wrecker-in-chief.


In another match, Swaraj were comfortably placed at 437 for 5 against Grand Slam. A Aarif (107), Mandeep Singh (106) and skipper Arpit V Vasavada (114 batting) were the main contributors for Swaraj.

V Subramania Siva led the batting charts with an unbeaten 101 to help Nelson end the opening day on 307 for 8 against Vijay CC. Skipper M Prabhu (42), Robin Bist (42) and Anand Subramanian (63) too played their part for Nelson. Rahil Shah (3 for 101) and R Sai Kishore (3 for 90) led the way with the ball for Vijay CC.
