No play occurred in the first Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh on Wednesday due to wet patches in the outfield at Rawalpindi cricket stadium caused by overnight rain. Umpires Richard Kettleborough from England and Adrian Holdstock from South Africa conducted three inspections and planned a fourth at 1:00 PM local time.This two-match series is part of the World Test Championship (WTC) third cycle (2023-2025), involving nine teams. Pakistan currently hold the sixth position, while Bangladesh are eighth on the table.The second Test is also scheduled in Rawalpindi, starting from August 30, after being relocated from Karachi due to construction work at the stadium
