Pakistan selectors have sidelined senior players Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh. Salman Ali Agha will continue to captain the team, while Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf are out due to injuries. The series is scheduled to begin on July 20 in Bangladesh.

Pakistan selectors have once again given the cold shoulder to senior cricketers and former captains Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi, as they named the 15-member squad for the three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.Salman Ali Agha will continue to lead the side in the T20Is. Vice-captain Shadab Khan and pacer Haris Rauf have been ruled out due to injuries.

Rauf has been ruled out after sustaining a Grade 1 hamstring injury during the San Francisco Unicorns’ recent win over the Texas Super Kings in the ongoing 2025 Major League Cricket (MLC).The Pakistan team is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on July 16. The T20I series will kick off on July 20, followed by the second and third matches on July 22 and 24, respectively.The two teams last met in May this year, when Pakistan completed a 3-0 clean sweep at home.Following the Bangladesh tour, Pakistan is scheduled to travel to the West Indies for another white-ball series. The three T20Is against the Caribbean side are set to be played in the United States on July 31, August 2, and August 3.
