The tournament, which could not be held last season due to scheduling issues, will see corporate teams taking part in what is likely to be a 50-over format meet. Details of the tournament have not yet been chalked out and CAB president Sourav Ganguly will form a panel to finalise the format.

Although the proposed Bengal Premier League (BPL) meet, which was planned on the lines of Indian Premier League, was not on the agenda of Monday's meeting, it was learnt that corporate tournament will not come in the way of shelving the T20 meet. However, the BPL is not materializing for the time being. "Let us start with this (P Sen Corporate). The BPL will require a bigger budget and we have not received the BCCI grant for long," Ganguly said.

With the terms of all state selection panel members being over, the working committee decided to reconstitute the committees. Former Bengal skipper Palash Nandy will now head the senior selection panel which will have Kalyan Chowdhury, Sagarmoy Sen Sharma and Mintoo Das as its members.

The junior selection panel will be headed by Madan Ghosh and will also include Moloy Banerjee, Indu Bushun Roy and Avik Mitra.
