Mumbai clinch Bapuna Cup

MUMBAI: Warming up for the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy in style, Mumbai clinched the 27th Bapuna Cup T20 tournament on Saturday, beating Dinshaws XI - a Vidarbha outfit, by 11 runs in the final.

Riding on Hardik Tamore (47, 32b, 6x4), Divyansh Saxena (30, 24b, 2x4, 2x6) and Prasad Pawar (24, 14b, 4x4) knocks, Mumbai scored 158 after being asked to bat first. For Dinshaws XI, seamer Rajneesh Gurbani took three for 12. The visitors then restricted Dinshaws XI to 147 for six in 20 overs, with pacer Tushar Deshpande taking three for 27 in four overs.
