Saxena and Samant took up the jobs after Pradeep Sundaram (fast bowling) and Vinayak Mane (batting) didn't accept the CIC's offer earlier. Sundaram is now the pace bowling coach of the Assam cricket academy.

Saxena was one of the three coaches of the Railways senior team last season.

Selectors invite bowlers for selection trials

Meanwhile, Mumbai's senior selection committee led by Raju Kulkarni, in a bid to discover match-winning bowlers, has invited six bowlers (three pacers and three spinners) each from all the A & B Division clubs in Mumbai, for a three-day camp at the MCA's academy in BKC next week.
